Lore
Had Meira not been told her biological father wasn't the Hyurian captain of the air-faring vessel the Cloudspear, she would have taken far longer to realize the world she had been raised in was different from the one she was born. Found by the late Captain Valien in a Garlean-conquered town in northeastern Aldenard, she was raised in and taught the life of a sky pirate from before she could speak her first word.
From a young age, the rambunctious miqo'te found her place on the deck, barking out orders in the fashion of her adoptive father and chastising those crew members who would bit off more than they could chew. It wasn't long before those words started meaning something, and her father's crew regarded her words with the same respect as they did his.
By the time Captain Valien was ready to pass on the torch, the choice was easy. Already having gained the respect of the crew and having her entire life be in the sky, Meira took over the helm of the Cloudspear, continuing the endless work of a sky pirate.

Hi there! I'm Charip (25, he/they), and I've been playing FFXIV since about March of 2023. I fell in love with this game and its world almost instantly, and it's been a joy to get to know so many people! XIV has been where I really discovered I love character writing and roleplay, so the character you just met someone I tried to put a lot of thought into!
